Former Exxon Mobil engineer sentenced to 15-years in prison for raping his tenant's niece
A Lagos High Court sitting in Igbosere condemned a previous Exxon Mobil architect to 15 years detainment today, June 1, 2020.
James Onuoha was condemned to 15 years prison term without a choice of fine after he was seen as liable of assaulting his occupant's niece, who was 14 years of age at that point.
At the keep going deferred date, on January 14, 2020, the court suspended the case until March 25, for judgment, after the gatherings received their last composed locations.
Notwithstanding, the judgment couldn't be conveyed on March 25 because of lockdown coming about because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Onuoha was first summoned in January 2016 at the Magistrates' Court on a four-tally charge of pollution.
Onuoha was remanded in Kirikiri remedial focus pending lawful guidance from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
Following his prosecution by the DPP, the case was moved to the high court for preliminary.
The state government blamed Onuoha for submitting the supposed offenses on January 4, 2016, at 11:30 a.m., at 25, Samuel Amoore Street, Idowu Estate, Ike-Ira Nla, Ajah, Lagos.
The indictment drove by Dr. Jide Martins said the litigant tenaciously had an unlawful sexual act with the youngster without her assent.
He said the offenses negated Sections 134 (2), 135 (1), and is culpable under Sections 137 and 258 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
Onuoha, nonetheless, argued not liable to the charge.
The episode occurred on January 4, 2016, and caused shock at that point, with various famous people loaning their voice to call for equity.
