[Photos] 1 person dead, 6 others rescued as three-storey building crumbled in Lagos


One person has been affirmed dead and six others have been safeguarded after a three-storey building crumbled at number 20 Freeman road in Lagos Island in the early long stretches of Saturday, July 11. 

The tenants were sleeping soundly when the structure crumbled. 

Men of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA, National Emergency Management Agency, Lagos State Ministry of Physical Planning, Lagos State Ambulance Services (LASSMBUS) and numerous others have shown up the location of the occurrence. 

Six people have been protected from the rubbles and are as of now accepting clinical consideration while the body of a little youngster has been recuperated from the thunders and stored in a funeral home. 

"Nine to 10 individuals are recommended to be living in the structure. Endeavors are on to safeguard the rest of the individuals," said Southwest Coordinator, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Ibrahim Farinloye.
