FG to shut third mainland bridge for 6-months, starting from July 24th


The Federal Ministry of Works says it will be shutting the ever-bustling third mainland bridge in Lagos for a time of a half year starting from July 24. 

Uncovering this to newsmen today July 6, the Federal Controller of Works in Lagos, Olukayode Popoola, said interviews are right now continuous for another period of fix attempts to start on the 11.8 km connect. As per Popoola, the fix works would begin the outward territory area of the extension. He said the Ministry is as of now working with applicable offices to guarantee the free progression of traffic during the period. 

The extension has experienced a progression of fix works and was last closed in August 2018 for a three-day analytical support check.
