Bandits attack in Zamfara leaves 25 people dead


Suspected bandits assaulted towns in Talata Marafa and Maru Local Government Areas of Zamfara State on Wednesday, killing around 25 individuals. 

Report had it that the outfitted men attacked Awala town and left with crowds of dairy cattle and other household creatures, from that point went to neighboring networks to stir steers yet were not fortunate as they met firm opposition from the occupants. 

It was assembled that the occupants retaliated and murdered a considerable lot of the outlaws and the dairy cattle rustlers when the crooks laid attack to the zone. 

The criminals needed to flee when they found the obstruction of the occupants in this manner leaving the stirred creatures. 

After a day, as per report, because of the obstruction of the inhabitants of the assaulted networks, the furnished men fortified different crooks and went to Zaman Gira, Yargada Bolakke, Awala, Gidan Runji and numerous different towns on motorbikes. 

The outfitted men were said to show up at their host networks when the occupants were planning for the entombment of the dead ones prior executed by the crooks, on appearance, began taking shots inconsistently at a burial ground in Zaman Gira prompting the demise of many. 

The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Sani Halilu, clarified that the state Commissioner of Police would brief on the issue.
