3 people rescued, 1 missing as boat capsized in Lekki Lagos state


One individual has been accounted for missing after a nearby pontoon cruising along Lekki shoreline overturned on Tuesday.

As per reports, the pontoon passing on four men who were on an undertaking, was improved by choppiness. Three of the travelers were safeguarded after the occurrence. 

The General Manager, Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA), Oluwadamilola Emmanuel, affirmed that quest was progressing for one of the travelers of the pontoon. 

''At about 4.30 pm on the 23rd of June 2020, a neighborhood pontoon with four (4) grown-up guys on a sailing campaign were inside a vessel which overturned because of water disturbance.
